Wine Description
Yet another hot growing season. There were many more warm nights that year, as witnessed by the low malic acid levels at harvest. These conditions tend to produce wines on the fruit-forward end of the spectrum. Entirely sourced from our original vines planted in 2000.
Tasting Notes
Soft and aromatic, the 2018 Brigita is the most seductive single clone of the vintage. The wine starts with aromas of plum, clove, and fruit compote. The palate is bright with cherry and spices with supple, fine-grained tannins. This wine has beautiful balance and a scintillating finish that invites another sip.
