Wine Description
All our Chardonnays are picked early for higher acid and lower alcohol for a refreshing acidity, defined mineral notes, and lingering finish. The Estate Chardonnay is crafted in a blend of large format puncheon, traditional Burgundy barrel, and an egg-shaped vessel. The lighter oak treatment and ten months of aging allow the fruit and vineyard site's full expression to be showcased.
Tasting Notes
Crisp and vibrant, this estate Chardonnay has citrus layers of Meyer lemon and grapefruit zest. Background notes of French oak give way to a steely finish.

Reviews
“This crisp and well-structured wine is replete with flavors of green apple and melon, backed with fresh, mineral-drenched acids. It's a perfect food wine—assertive yet malleable, with a balanced, sculpted mouthfeel and great penetration. It finishes with a lick of butterscotch as you reach to refill your glass.”
“Aromas of lemon curd, baking spice and sliced grapefruit. Medium-bodied with bright acidity. Dried flowers on the palate. Refreshing tannins at the finish. Sustainable. Drink now. Screw cap.”
