Wine Description
Our 2018 Syrah is made like they do in the Cote Rotie Appellation in the northern Rhone wine region in France. Co-fermented and blended with a white grape varietal, Viognier, this wine has all of the great characteristics of Syrah, while allowing for the small amount of Viognier addition a place at the table in aromas and complexity.
Tasting Notes
A Syrah that boasts a rich, dark fruit aroma of plum, complemented by subtle notes of cured meat and a touch of white pepper. On the palate, its tannins are firm and dense, giving a solid structure to the wine. The taste reveals black current flavors that add depth, along with a pleasing hint of blue fruit that lingers on the finish.
