All our Chardonnays are picked early for higher acid and lower alcohol for a refreshing acidity, defined mineral notes, and lingering finish. The Estate Chardonnay is crafted in a blend of large format puncheon, traditional Burgundy barrel, and an egg-shaped vessel. The lighter oak treatment and ten months of aging allow the fruit and vineyard site's full expression to be showcased.
Straw-gold color. Initial aromas of green apple, gingersnap and hay. Followed by a dense palate of pear, nutmeg and cinnamon. The lingering finish has a refreshing acidity interwoven with minerality.
