2024 Vintage Report
2024 arrived with a cool start and plenty of motion statewide, then settled into a warm, concentrated harvest season. In our corner of the Chehalem Mountains, September delivered classic Oregon shift changes: warmth that gave way to cooler days and nights, stretching ripening and spacing out picks. That slower progression gave the fruit time, and time gave the wines detail.
Bud break came in mid April and the season unfolded patiently from there. By the end of September, our Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Tempranillo were in and on their way. We waited for Syrah to finish the story, then brought it in as the final note. Along the way, 2024 became a meaningful chapter for the lineup, including the return of a tiny Viognier lot and a farewell to Valley Skies as our final rosé from that Tempranillo block.
