2025 Vintage Report
2025 moved early and stayed steady. The season across Oregon matured quickly, and at Compris we were ready for the first pick when it arrived. We kicked off harvest in early September with fruit chosen for brightness and vibrant acidity, setting the tone for the vintage right from the start.
From there, the month delivered mostly ideal harvest weather with a few scattered rainy days that were easy to work around. By October 1, all of our fruit except Cabernet Franc was in. Even Syrah was safely harvested, a first for us by that point on the calendar. Cabernet Franc made its debut as our newest voice in the vineyard, coming in last and closing out our fifth harvest with something genuinely new to listen for as it ages.
Key Dates:
• September 2: Harvest begins with Lovely Days Sparkling Rosé and Divided Light White Pinot Noir
• October 1: All fruit harvested except Cabernet Franc, Syrah included
• Late October: Cabernet Franc pressed and put into barrel
