Happy New Year, Compris Family and Friends ~
January always feels like a quiet reset for us. A new year brings fresh energy and subtle changes, even as the vineyard rests. The days are still short, encouraging us to slow down, gather a little closer, and appreciate the calm that this season offers.
At the same time, the light is returning. Each evening lingers just a bit longer, and with it comes a sense of momentum and possibility. While the vines won’t wake for some time, there’s plenty happening behind the scenes—planning, reflecting, and preparing for what lies ahead.
We’re entering our sixth vintage with both gratitude and excitement. Each year teaches us something new about our land and our wines, and we’re eager to see how this next chapter will take shape, from the vineyard rows to the cellar and ultimately into your glass.
Winter is also one of our favorite times to welcome guests. These quieter months offer a peaceful, unhurried way to experience the vineyard—whether that means lingering over a tasting or joining us for our upcoming blending experience in early February, where you can step into the winemaking process and create something uniquely your own.
As always, thank you for being part of the Compris community. We look forward to sharing the year ahead with you.
Warmly, Dru and Erin

Stay in the loop on what's ahead for Compris! We'll share more via our newsletter, website, and social media as new details develop.
At Compris Vineyard, community begins in the vines and extends far beyond them. Our work is deeply intertwined with the people who care for the land, harvest the fruit, and make this valley what it is. That’s why supporting organizations that uplift and advocate for farmworkers feels not only important, but personal.
For the first quarter of the year, we’re honored to partner with Unidos Bridging Community, a Yamhill County–based nonprofit dedicated to strengthening relationships between Latino and non-Latino communities. Unidos supports farmworker and vineyard worker families through education, leadership development, citizenship assistance, youth programs, and wellness advocacy - building pathways to opportunity while honoring cultural identity and dignity.
Their mission reflects our belief that thriving vineyards depend on thriving people, and that a strong wine community is one where everyone is seen, supported, and valued. From January through March, a portion of proceeds from our As One Pinot Noir will support Unidos’ vital work. Together, we’re investing in connection, equity, and the people who help shape our shared agricultural landscape. Donate & Support Unidos!
