Wine Description
Given to Fly is reserve Pinot built from the barrels that made us stop mid tasting in 2021. In a season defined by early heat and a long dry finish, we captured ripe, dark toned fruit while holding onto structure and freshness, then chose four standout barrels that felt complete on their own. Extended élevage gave the tannins time to resolve and the details time to surface: dark berries and dusty earth, baking spice, a thread of cocoa and coffee that sits like a low note under the melody. It finishes long and rising, depth that never turns heavy.

Reviews
“This is a rich and wondrous Pinot Noir where blackberry and pomegranate flavors coat the palate, seasoned by marjoram and thyme notes. The tannins are beginning to loosen their grip while the wine's acidity remains bright. And the aromas of Bing cherries, lilac and straw are no slouch, either. Partial proceeds from this label are donated to charitable causes so that others may fly high. — Michael Alberty”
“Dried strawberries and red cherries with hints of sandalwood, spices and wet earth. Layered and compact with a medium to full body and polished tannins. Succulent finish. Drink or hold. Glass stopper.”
