Wine Description
The idea for this was originally born of necessity to have a white wine option for this vintage. A late frost in April wiped out our block of Chardonnay, our only white varietal, so we needed to come up with options. After tasting several White Pinot noirs from a variety of producers, we determined that we could, and should, make one as our white offering for the vintage. Picked a bit earlier than the grapes for the full-bodied red version were, we captured the fruit at the perfect symbiosis of ripeness and acidity for what we desired in this wine. The resulting wine made us all very confident that we made the right decision in adding this to our white wine portfolio. ~Dru Allen
