Wine Description
Drum & Fife is Pommard in a late vintage, slow ripening, firm skins, and the kind of structure that makes you want to stay at the table. Block 1B delivered darker fruit and a more assertive tannin signature, and we leaned into that personality with classic extraction and a measured percentage of new oak. It opens on dark cherry, blackberry, orange peel, forest floor spice, then finishes with that Pommard “march”: lightly grippy, long, steady, anchored.
