Wine Description
Given to Fly gathers the most complete barrels from Block 1 in a year that started nervy and ended generous. The cold, wet spring set the stage for high natural acidity; the warm, extended October finished the story with ripened skins and seeds at modest sugars. From that, we pulled four barrels that felt like they had extra gravity and extra air. It opens on dark berries and black cherry with cocoa and subtle spice, then carries firm but polished tannins into a finish that rises instead of sinks. Built for the cellar, already speaking clearly now.

Reviews
“So suave, velvety and subtle, offering deep fruit flavors and a polished, soothing texture. Accents of cinnamon, cloves and cedar over black cherries, dried blueberries and a piney, minty background. Drink or hold. ~ Jim Gordon, Executive Editor”
