Wine Description
The Myth is a dry, estate-grown Willamette Valley Pinot Noir made entirely from our Dick's 95 selection, with dried cherry, ripe plum, dark berries, cedar, dried herbs, and dark chocolate. Lithe and savory, it pairs a vibrant cherry core and fresh acidity with smooth, resolved tannins and a long mineral finish - it does not ask for attention; it earns it.
Naming Inspiration
Inspired by Paul Simon's "All Around the World or The Myth of Fingerprints." The name nods to the long-traveled story of Dick's 95 and the distinctive imprint this Willamette Valley Pinot Noir selection leaves on the wine.

Reviews
“This tip of the cap to the late, great Dick Erath's famed suitcase clone is an impressive wine. It starts off with an earthy aroma mix of loamy soil and blackberry tea, followed by notes of Bing cherries, nutmeg and dark chocolate. The Myth feels smooth and nimble on the palate, with gentle acidity and integrated tannins. Its raspberry, lemon zest and clove flavors are delicate and spicy. The Myth is light in terms of body, but long on flavor. - Michael Alberty”
