Wine Description
This is the last vintage of Valley Skies Rosé of Tempranillo, and we made sure it would be one to remember. Our small block of estate Tempranillo, the same vines that brought this wine to life each year, has now retired. A virus called red blotch made it harder and harder for the fruit to ripen, so this vintage is a celebration of what those vines could do before they bowed out.
On the nose, expect sun-warmed stone fruit—peach and nectarine—lifted by delicate lilac and a whisper of guava. The palate is generous and full of energy, offering ripe melon and a smooth, rounded texture. It finishes with the refreshing snap of watermelon rind, lingering like the last light over the valley.
We farmed this block with care, knowing it might be the final harvest. This rosé carries all the gratitude, joy, and fleeting beauty of a Willamette Valley sunset. Here's to endings that taste a lot like beginnings. Cheers.
