Wine Description
Divided Light came back because we loved what it brought to the lineup the first time around, and so did everyone else. Made from estate Pommard Pinot Noir and pressed immediately as whole clusters to avoid color, it keeps the essence of Pinot while showing up in a brighter, more energetic form.
In 2024, the season gave us exactly what this wine needs: enough spring moisture to set the vines up well, a few heat spikes in midsummer, then a long, moderate finish that let the fruit mature fully without losing acidity. Fermented with native yeast and aged mostly in neutral Billon oak, Divided Light holds onto its tension while quietly broadening on the lees. The result is a white wine with Pinot Noir at its core—lifted, textural, and just a little unexpected in all the right ways.

Naming Inspiration
Divided Light takes its name from the prism artwork on Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon—a nod to the way light is split and refracted, and to the transformation of a red grape into a white wine. It’s also a fitting description of the wine itself: Pinot Noir divided into a brighter spectrum, still carrying its varietal soul while showing up in a more lifted, energetic form.
Tasting Notes
Aroma: White peach, honeysuckle, citrus marmalade, wet concrete
Palate: Bright acidity, green apple up front, broadening to medium weight through the mid-palate, sweet-tart finish
